Rats in the Walls is a tabletop roleplaying game of rodent stealth and survival from the walls of a haunted Victorian manor.

The rules are based on Blades in the Dark by John Harper. Its many inspirations include The Borrowers, Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, and Little Nightmares. The closed-off interior setting of the manor gives Rats an “urban fantasy” flavor quite unlike the pastoral settings of other rodent roleplaying games like Mausritter, Mouse Guard, Redwall, or Root.

The game has been a labor of love, designed by Kevin Meeks, Keenan Taylor, and myself for over three years, and is still in active development, with more details set to release soon.
